OST increases readiness, resilience

DOVER AIR FORCE BASE, Del. — In August 2020, Dover Air Force Base developed the Operational Support Team, a five-person medical team that embeds into units for three to four months focusing on preventative care. The team is made up of a physical therapist, physical therapy technician, a social worker, a psychologist and a strength coach, providing on-site care, training and preventative fitness and mental health techniques tailored to each squadron’s needs.

Expanded Child Care Options Provide Relief for Parents

DOVER AIR FORCE BASE, Del. -- Life in the military provides unique challenges for parents compared to their civilian counterparts as at times, families are separated for extended periods.

Dover AFB Airmen receive COVID-19 vaccinations

DOVER AIR FORCE BASE, Del. -- The first round of the COVID-19 vaccine arrived at Dover AFB last week. The 436th Medical Group started administering the vaccine to Team Dover frontline workers on January 15, 2021.
